Team management
Roles
| Role | Permissions | | ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Owner | Full access: billing, team management, all flows and settings. Can promote others to Owner. | | Editor | Create, edit, publish, and delete flows. Cannot manage team or billing. | | Viewer | Read-only access to flows and analytics. Cannot edit anything. |
Your organization can have multiple Owners.
Team settings page
Go to Settings → Team to manage your team. The page shows:
- All current members with their roles
- Pending invites (sent but not yet accepted)
Inviting members
Click Invite member, enter the email address, select a role, and click Send invite. The invited person receives an email with a magic link. When they click it, they're automatically added to your organization.
Pending invites are shown in the table with an "Invited" badge. You can resend or cancel a pending invite from the three-dot menu.
Invites expire after 7 days. If a teammate missed the invite, resend it.
Changing a member's role
Click the role badge next to any member to change it. You can:
- Promote an Editor to Owner
- Demote an Owner to Editor (as long as at least one Owner remains)
- Change any member to Viewer
You cannot change your own role. Have another Owner change it if needed.
Removing a member
Click the three-dot menu next to a member → Remove from organization. The member loses access immediately. Their created flows, steps, and analytics data are preserved.
Removed members can be re-invited at any time.
Seat limits by plan
| Plan | Seats | | ----- | --------- | | Free | 1 | | Grow | 3 | | Scale | Unlimited |
If you're at your seat limit, you must upgrade before inviting additional members. Go to Settings → Billing to upgrade.
Security
- All Zenstep accounts use passwordless authentication (magic link or Google OAuth) — no passwords to manage
- Sessions are valid for 7 days; users are prompted to re-authenticate after that
- Removing a member from the organization immediately invalidates their session
